Outstanding garlic. )goid valueThis is a great way to flavor soups and other foods. I use it all the time. You can't tell the difference between fresh garlic bulbs and this powder. It's actually that good. I'm going to keep buying it.Refilling can be messy, but so worth it because the value is amazing. This is our favorite garlic and we now live too far away from a store thay carries it. Found it during the pandemic since grocery shelves weren't as full. We keep lots on hand as we use it every day.I use a lot of garlic powder, and I have found that the garlic powder purchased from the store is truly a powder. It is hard to mix with other ingredient, especially liquid, and tends to clump. I would describe this garlic powder as more of a fine granulated garlic. The smell is much more like fresh garlic. I can't say that I save money buying this garlic powder as 2 lbs. in the store actually costs a bit less in this area. The whole idea of using herbs and spices is to enhance flavor and aroma, and this garlic powder is the best for that. I would rather pay a little more to accomplish the desired results in dishes that I make. I like that Amazon is offering this garlic and saving me a trip to the store. I bought shaker bottles from Amazon, and filled one with this garlic powder. The rest of it went into the freezer to keep it fresher for longer.Back in 71 or 72 I chewed up five or six whole pieces of garlic ! The mouth crinkled up like cellophane ! The intensity was withering ! But the Pain in my gut was far far worse ! And the Panic of catching something was almost out of control ! By God when that raw garlic got through sinking its teeth in, that breath taking agony and fear just went away ! instantly ! A distant memory ! Well !! This Powdered Garlic( powdered ??) brought those memories back ! A heaping tablespoon in a cup of spaghetti sauce turned my stomach which made me feel SO GOOOD ! Putting it in the drinking water, and hot soups !! Love It !! Thank You !!!! Seasoning to taste is wonderful too!! It's not just all medicine !! Absolutely Wonderful !! Thanks Again !!Do you know how many things garlic powder is used for? I ran out weeks ago, and after looking at the little bottles in the grocery store I shook my head and started using the garlic salt that was stored in my spice shelves. That was a bad idea. Too much salt. Now I have plenty of garlic powder to last as long as I need it to. And the price is right.Lots of it, even for someone like me who uses plenty (okay, I admit it...I'm Italian!). I would have given it a 5-star rating, but the powder was much finer than I expected, and it's going to take some time to get used to that. When I tilt the shaker bottle, the powder sort of shoots out, not all of it hitting the food in the skillet...that will teach me to leave my cup of tea too near the stove! I'm used to the coarser grain of the garlic powder I've gotten at grocery stores.WOW this was a lot of garlic powder! I didn't realize how large 2 bags of 16oz each would be. Great value for the price and taste really good! Some powdered garlic can taste like powder but not this!
