ABOUT US Capsule Connection was founded by Howard Mechanic in 1973 with the purpose of providing high-quality natural health products. For a few years before that, Howard was a member of consumer natural food cooperatives in the St. Louis and Tempe, Arizona areas and he developed a deep interest in natural healing, especially herbal remedies. Howard served as the Chair of Gentle Strength Cooperative and was a founder and officer of both the American Herb Trade Association and the Southwest Federation of Cooperatives. In 1981, recognizing the need for an efficient home capsule filling machine, Howard and his then father-in-law, Ray Gold, developed the original design of The Capsule Machine. Currently, we sell empty capsules and a wide range of capsule filling machines, including the ProFiller professional machines. Capsule Connection does no advertising. I used to buy gel caps that came together, meaning you had to manually separate the top and bottom which was super time consuming and less than ideal. I even told a friend it would be better if these came separated. Well not sure how I got these as I used my re-order function but so glad I did. These come in 2 separate bags (tops in one, bottoms in the other). It makes the capping process so much easier. I will say you are paying a premium to get that but for me it's worth it. I think I paid around $16 for these and the ones that are not separated were like $12.As far as the caps themselves, they seem pretty standard, no quality defects and exactly what I was looking for.
